We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food and Beverage Sales Executive to join our team in Part-Time basis (25 hours guaranteed = $35/hour). This role is responsible for group (12+ guests) and event coordination for the food and beverage retail outlets (entire resort).


Responsibilities

* Manage incoming event and group enquiries via email, website, and direct channels.
* Identify the most suitable outlet for each enquiry to support booking conversion.
* Complete banquet event orders, manage bookings in online systems, and report on enquiry status and conversion.
* Conduct sales calls, face-to-face meetings, site tours and other sales activities as required.
* Coordinate outlet events such as wine dinners and comedy nights, including event orders, trybooking links and communication between departments.
* Manage the event calendar and forward planning for each food and beverage outlet.
* Coordinate resort signature events including Christmas Day, Valentine's Concert and New Year's Eve.
* Maximise food and beverage retail revenues in line with business strategy.
* Liaise with operational departments for all aspects of group and event bookings.
* Work collaboratively with the operations, administration and sales teams.
* Act as the main point of contact for all group and event clients, both internal and external.
* Build rapport to encourage repeat business.
* Share customer feedback with the team and handle complaints.
* Represent Joondalup Resort at industry events when required.


Qualifications

* Three years' experience in a similar size hospitality property
* Demonstrated knowledge of systems and software
* Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (words, excel)
* Occasional requirement for flexibility of hours/shifts to include weekend or evening event work
