Lead Academic for Rural and Remote Health
We are seeking an accomplished academic leader to take on the role of Centre Lead in a unique opportunity to shape health education and research in regional and remote communities.
This is a strategic leadership position where you will provide oversight of academic programs, drive engagement with cross-sector partners, community stakeholders, professional bodies, and policy makers, and contribute to senior governance and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A PhD or equivalent experience with scholarly outputs in rural and remote health, education, or workforce.
* A strong understanding of the higher education sector.
* Proven experience managing remote allied health programs, clinical placements, research, and evaluation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and work effectively in culturally diverse settings.
* Expertise in rural and remote community engagement and collaboration with health services and professional organisations.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Please note that the ability to travel across the service footprint, including overnight stays, is required. A current driver's license and Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain) are also necessary.
