**About the role**
As an HR Adviser, you will be responsible for providing strong stakeholder management, advice, and support on a range of HR matters, and administrative duties.
Your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Administering and coordinating payroll-related requests via the outsourced payroll provider.
- Providing advice and interpretation of employment conditions, policies, and entitlements (such as leave, superannuation, prior service, etc).
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to data and analysis to produce reports or answer queries.
- Inbox management including responding to general inquiries, actioning requests and delegating or escalating work as appropriate.
- Assisting with the HR team's obligations and administration as required including updating record management systems.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Good stakeholder engagement skills
- An ability to think critically and use judgment
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational abilities to prioritise work and meet deadlines, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and self-directed
- An understanding of payroll, HR policies, practices, and legislation, as well as experience in using systems such as Microsoft excel and Aurion
