About the Role
We are seeking an empathetic and dedicated professional to join our team as an Intake and Drug Diversion Worker. In this role, you will deliver quality clinical services including assessment, treatment, education, and advocacy within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
You will be responsible for coordinating Queensland Health Drug Diversion Programs and mentoring junior staff. You will also work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to improve the lives of those affected by alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues.
Your Day Will Look Like This:
* Coordinating appointments and compliance reporting for the Drug Diversion Programs
* Conducting assessments, providing individual and group treatment interventions, and offering education sessions to consumers
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in case management, and supporting consumers on their recovery journey
* Mentoring junior staff, participating in community forums, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
