The Deposits, Pricing and Governance Crew is responsible for the manufacturing and profitable growth of Retail Savings and Term Deposit products. Our responsibilities include product strategy, product design, pricing, customer experience, risk management, and the day-to-day oversight of the deposit suite. Key responsibilities of the Everyday Banking (EDB) Pricing, Data Science & Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) include: Driving EDB P&L outcomes End-to-end accountability for setting headline and discretionary interest rates Ongoing development of our world-leading pricing capability Customer acquisition and retention for Term Deposits and Savings Accounts through targeted offers Designing and implementing customer-centric initiatives to help customers meet their savings goals Do work that matters The Chapter Lead, Everyday Banking Pricing, will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering the deposit pricing strategy. You will also be responsible for supporting and developing a team of product professionals. This high-profile role requires innovative and strategic thinking to partner with the CoE Lead in executing major initiatives aligned with our business priorities. You will guide and inspire your squad to drive EDB P&L outcomes, collaborate closely with key stakeholders, and regularly present to senior leaders in Everyday Banking. This role is fundamental to delivering our initiatives and driving portfolio growth for the largest deposit franchise in the country, with the opportunity to advance our pricing capabilities. More specifically, you will: Develop and coach a team of product managers to build the skills and capabilities needed to deliver key business objectives Partner with the CoE Lead to identify and create continuous development opportunities for your Chapter members Foster a team environment that reflects the values of Care, Courage, and Commitment Deliver P&L outcomes through weekly management of headline and discretionary pricing Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve business goals Proactively identify, understand, and manage risks across the business Work with our data science team to develop new models that enhance pricing efficiency Play a central role in launching new pricing capabilities to customers Lead across the broader Everyday Banking team, promoting a collaborative culture and consistently demonstrating CommBank’s values We want to hear from you if you have: Proven capability in coaching and developing a team Experience in building diverse teams and leveraging individual strengths to drive high performance A strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail Commercial acumen balanced with a commitment to optimal customer outcomes Demonstrated ability to analyse and improve key customer journeys and processes Experience in pricing (highly regarded) Strategy development skills Strong stakeholder relationship-building and influencing skills A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field A Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify, understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks If this sounds like you then apply today!
