We specialize in insurance building repairs, operating offices across VIC, NSW, QLD, SA & WA. For over 30 years we have repaired domestic and commercial properties damaged through insurable events such as fire, storm, flood, impact and malicious damage.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced team leader to estimate and deliver construction repairs for multiple small, medium and large projects. Working alongside our project coordinator, you will be responsible for the timely completion of budget breakdowns for the tender process, then upon authority of repairs, working on-site to deliver repairs/construction at these sites. This position reports to the state manager.
You will work closely with our team to engage trades, prepare schedules and manage budgets to ensure the timely delivery of quality projects to our clients. The role is predominantly multi-site based, responsible for all site-based operations such as quality assurance, customer service and ultimate delivery of set budgets and construction schedules.

Key Responsibilities
* Compile and deliver detailed scope of works
* Compile and deliver accurate budget breakdowns to allow successful tender results and profitable delivery of construction works
* Plan, schedule and drive multiple small to medium domestic and commercial construction repairs
* Ensure trades/suppliers adhere to purchase orders, SOWs and quote requests
* Ensure the delivery construction schedules are met
* Ensure budgets are met to ensure profitability on jobs
* Request engagement of new trades and suppliers via company procurement process
* Drive and monitor and adhere company safety processes on all jobs
* Accurately forecast and achieve monthly latest forecasted completion dates to ensure revenue targets are met
Requirements
* Solid construction supervision experience in medium to large, domestic and commercial construction repairs
* Proven skills in construction estimating for building repairs to both domestic and commercial properties
* Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, and all construction related trades and suppliers
* Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
* Interpersonal skills to deal with both internal and external customers building long-term relationships
* Ability to develop business through quality service delivery
* Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements
* Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards
