The Opportunity
As a Junior or Intermediate Accountant, you'll play a key role in the ongoing growth of our Wollongong practice. You'll work closely with experienced Partners and senior team members who genuinely invest in your development.
Position Responsibilities
5. Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
6. Take lead in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
7. Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
8. Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
9. Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
10. Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
11. Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
12. Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
13. Offer support and training to team members
About You
14. 1-3 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
15. Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
16. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
17. Experience using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, Xero and Quickbooks
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
19. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
20. Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
