Summary of Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager – Home Care to step into a key leadership role in Shepparton. In this position, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred home care and respite services for older people living in the community. You will provide guidance to a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with aged care standards, and drive continuous service excellence while managing resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support Home Care and Respite teams to deliver consumer-focused services.
- Oversee assessment, care planning, and service delivery to enhance independence and wellbeing.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with aged care quality standards, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Lead accreditation processes, quality improvement, and service development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, carers, and referral partners.
- Foster a positive and supportive team culture with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven leadership and operational management experience in health, aged care, or community services.
- Strong understanding of assessment, care planning, and service delivery in community aged care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Knowledge of compliance, risk management, and accreditation processes.
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required.
