We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal and Child Health professional to join our team.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and other professionals.
This role is responsible for providing flexible, family-focused services to maximise the health potential of all children from birth to 6 years of age and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide high-quality, evidence-based practice with a focus on strengthening parenting capacity and empowering families to make optimal decisions related to their children's health and development.
* To deliver health promotion through evidence-based education and information relating to all aspects of parenting, including breastfeeding, early learning, nutrition, and immunization.
Requirements:
* A current registration as a registered nurse and a registered midwife with AHPRA.
* A recognised postgraduate Maternal and Child Health qualification.
* A current Victorian driver's licence and Working with Children Check.
