We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Support Officer to join our team in the National Access and Assessment Branch.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a community-focused federal government agency, supporting Participant appeal rights. The role involves performing basic research, analysis, and data manipulation to enable accurate reporting and assist in the development, collation, and dissemination of regular reports.
The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in systems and people performance, financial, staff lifecycle, knowledge, and change management and general administration areas.
This APS4 level role offers an hourly rate with superannuation, plus 2 days working from home and 3 on-site days. The hours expected are an average of across a 5-day working week.
About the Role
* Performing basic research, analysis, and manipulation of data to enable accurate reporting and assist in the development, collation, and dissemination of regular reports
* Providing support and guidance in maintaining the branch's staff life cycle, including recruitment, on-boarding, training, and maintain staffing data across multiple formats
* Assisting with collation and audits of workforce planning data, reporting on staff lifecycle and confirming against financial, systems, and people performance data, surveys, and asset management
* Managing and organizing emails, appointments, and travel arrangements for the branch, responding to changing priorities and timeframes
* Providing business administration and operational support to the branch across the staff lifecycle and knowledge, performance, and financial management portfolios
* Assisting in the delivery of projects under the direction of higher classification levels
About You
* Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position
* Public sector or disability experience highly advantageous
* Prior project experience desirable
* Reporting experience
* Strong written and verbal communications
* High emotional intelligence
