We are seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Child Safety Advocate, working with children, young people, and their families to ensure their safety and well-being. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles, remain calm, and manage conflict. They will be able to build relationships with stakeholders, families, and young people, both in person and over the phone.
This role involves investigating and assessing notifications of children at risk of harm from abuse or neglect, providing quality, timely, and effective intervention and case management services, and preparing and presenting information for court processes.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification approved by the relevant National Board, and eligibility for membership with the relevant National Board or professional association. They will also have current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment Status), and a current Driver's Licence.
