Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Consultant to join our Consulting team, with a strong focus on SAP ECC (Payroll, HCM, HR), S/4HANA, SAP SF Employee Central including EC Time off and EC Payroll modules. This role is designed for an experienced consulting professional who is eager to broaden their exposure across consulting, training, and project delivery, with the objective of becoming a trusted consulting advisor and trainor to APAC clients for SpinifexIT solutions.
This position involves interstate and may involve occasional international travel, working closely with clients remotely and on-site as required. Candidates must be self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable managing their workload in a dynamic professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
This role spans Consulting, Training, and Project Work, including but not limited to:
Consulting & Client Engagement
* Provide expert consulting services to clients using SpinifexIT Easy Suite solutions
* Understand and articulate SAP Payroll, HR, and Finance concepts as they relate to SpinifexIT solutions
* Deliver blueprinting, design documentation, and best-practice recommendations
* Facilitate client workshops to scope and gather business requirements
* Proactively identify opportunities to add value and recommend additional solutions or consulting services
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Training & Enablement
* Deliver client training across all SpinifexIT Easy Suite solutions
* Develop and maintain high-quality test and demo scenarios in demo systems
* Create user-friendly documentation for product enhancements and system changes
* Design webinar content, document scenarios, and facilitate regular client webinars
Project & Support Work
* Participate in functional testing of upcoming product releases
* Translate system changes into clear, client-facing documentation
* Investigate and resolve escalated support tickets within the Consulting team
* Prepare enhancement requirements and business cases for Change Control Board (CCB) review
* Produce consulting reports, health checks, summaries, presentations, and recommendations
* Complete internal initiatives and special projects as directed
Operational Responsibilities
* Accurately complete weekly timesheets in line with professional services requirements
* Submit travel and expense claims in a timely manner to support invoicing processes
Minimum Requirements
Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an SAP HR / Payroll environment
* Hands-on involvement in SAP Payroll project implementations
* Exposure to AU/NZ/SEA payroll legislation is highly desirable
* Prior experience with SpinifexIT solutions is an advantage
* Technical & Functional Skills
o Strong knowledge of SAP HCM, Payroll and/or SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central - Time Off and Payroll)
o High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
o Proficient in standard business tools (Excel, Google Workspace, PC/Laptop use)
o Ability to gather, analyse, and act on information effectively and efficiently
