Reporting to the Experience Manager, you'll be accountable for achieving individual sales targets while delivering a premium, welcoming and confidence-building experience for every member and prospective member.
This is a role for people who enjoy selling with purpose — helping people take meaningful steps toward better health and wellbeing, while delivering strong commercial outcomes.
You'll be expected to confidently guide prospects through the decision-making process, handle objections and close — while always delivering a respectful, human and consultative experience aligned to our wellness purpose.
In a nutshell -
* Welcome members and prospects and help them feel confident taking their first steps with Virgin Active
* Understand each prospect's goals, motivations and buying criteria, and guide them through a consultative sales conversation
* Deliver a seamless, non-intimidating sign-up and onboarding experience for every new member
* Achieve individual sales targets while maintaining quality, integrity and long-term relationships
* Support existing members with enquiries, changes and re-engagement conversations to improve retention and saves
* Handle feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring positive outcomes wherever possible
* Stay on top of admin to keep processes smooth and accurate
* Advocate safety and contribute to a safe, welcoming club environment
* Find ways to go above and beyond — especially when it meaningfully improves someone's experience
All about you
* Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, fitness or another customer-facing, target-driven role
* Comfortable working in a sales-focused environment with clear performance expectations
* Motivated by achieving targets and taking accountability for your results
* Confident influencing decisions, handling objections and asking for the close
* People-focused, resilient and able to build trust quicklyLooking for more than a short-term role and interested in building capability and progression within a premium global brand
* Flexible to work a non-traditional roster across the week
