Overview
Casual Receptionist with extraordinary customer service skills required for a busy GP clinic in Hawthorn consisting of 10 doctors, 2 practice nurses. Melbourne Pathology are on site.
Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients at the Front Desk
- Ensuring a smooth registration process
- Providing administrative support to the clinical team as required
- Assisting with incoming phone calls
- Billing and processing payments and Medicare rebates
- Dealing with patient bookings and rescheduling of appointments as necessary
- General administration duties, practice cleanliness and restocking as needed
- Providing GP assistance where required within scope of receptionist role
- End of day banking
Qualifications
- Reception/Admin experience within a busy Medical Practice
- Polite, accommodating manner
- Intermediate computer knowledge (Best Practice experience desired but not essential)
- Empathy towards others and a genuine desire to assist patients, professionals and co-workers
- All healthcare workers in Victoria are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19; evidence is required before commencing employment
