Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable and flexible data warehouse systems that meet the company's standards and business requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, development, testing, deployment, and real-time monitoring of data jobs. They will also possess excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to optimize calculation logic and enhance performance.
Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to data governance initiatives, including the development of metadata management and data quality monitoring systems. They will also support the growth and expertise of the technical team through knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and skill enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build scalable and flexible data warehouse systems to meet business requirements.
* Responsible for data model design, development, testing, deployment, and real-time monitoring of data jobs.
* Contribute to data governance initiatives, including metadata management and data quality monitoring systems.
* Support technical team development through knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and skill enhancement.
Requirements
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data lake, or data warehouse development.
* Deep expertise in data warehouse modeling and governance, including dimensional modeling and one data principles.
* Proficiency in at least one of Java, Scala, or Python, plus strong Hive and Spark SQL programming skills.
* Practical experience with OLAP engines and real-time serving systems.
* Proven track record of high-throughput batch pipelines and low-latency streaming pipelines.
* Familiarity with core Big Data technologies.
* Experience in Web3 data domains and ability to design data services powering online applications.
* Strong analytical and system-design capabilities, with a clear understanding of business requirements into scalable data architecture.
* Collaborative mindset, skilled at building partnerships across teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience managing petabyte-scale data in Internet environments.
* Bilingual English/Mandarin to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
