Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Compression Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Field Service Manager to lead and manage field service operations in Australia and support the Asia Pacific Region for our compressor business.
This includes normal Service activities, Modification and Upgrades, and New compressor installations.
The successful candidate will be based in Australia and will bring a strong technical background in compressors & compressor operations, excellent leadership capabilities, and a customer-focused mindset to drive operational excellence and Field Service growth in the region.
How You'll Make an Impact Oversee and manage all field service activities across Australia, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting of compressor installations.
Lead and support a regional team of field service engineers.
Ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Develop and execute service strategies to improve performance, customer loyalty, and revenue.
Coordinate with regional sales and operations teams to align & forecast field activities with broader business goals.
Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to identify service opportunities and provide technical support.
Monitor and report on service KPIs, team performance, and regional service trends.
Drive continuous improvement and training initiatives for the service team.
What You Bring Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology, business administration, or a related field.
Relevant experience in service businesses (field service, repair operations, customer technical support) or equivalent.
Possesses and demonstrates a high degree of tact and professionalism and being capable of interacting with management peers, shop personnel and clients.
Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate business goals into actionable operational initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess training needs, evaluate current process and procedural effectiveness, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Strong understanding of turbo & reciprocating machinery principles, operations, and maintenance practices.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and experience at establishing priorities.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work under time constraints, good people skills, and a high degree of initiative.
Travel, as required both regionally and internationally, between 10% and 25%.
