About the Company

Syscon, now proudly owned by Borg Group and managed by Crossmuller, is a leading Level 1 & Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) delivering electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

We specialise in overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electricity distribution networks, providing civil and electrical solutions for residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Procurement & Store Officer to manage our warehouse/store, coordinate materials for site jobs, and handle procurement. This role combines warehouse management, job material preparation, and supplier coordination to ensure all projects run smoothly and materials are available when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Material Coordination & Site Support:

* Prepare, arrange, and issue materials required for each project/job

* Coordinate with civil and electrical supervisors to ensure materials are available and ready on-site

* Pack, load, and deliver materials for project requirements as needed

* Support site teams by ensuring timely availability of materials and proper documentation

Procurement & Supplier Management:

* Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers; negotiate favorable terms and conditions

* Source and purchase electrical components, equipment, and supplies in a cost-effective manner while ensuring quality and on-time delivery

* Proactively find and engage new suppliers to improve efficiency and cost savings

* Analyze pricing trends and implement strategies without compromising quality

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

* Organize and manage inventory within the warehouse/store, ensuring materials are stored safely and according to safety protocols

* Receive inbound materials from suppliers, store items properly, and update inventory records in the system

* Pick, pack, and prepare materials for site jobs, ensuring accurate and timely delivery

* Maintain quality control of stored materials and enforce warehouse safety standards

Reporting & Compliance:

* Maintain accurate inventory and procurement records

* Generate reports on warehouse operations, stock levels, and procurement activities

* Ensure all procurement and warehouse activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards
