Key Responsibilities
The Teacher Aide will provide routine support to teachers, including assisting with student routines and communicating with parents.
They will also be responsible for providing basic physical care and wellbeing support for students, communicating with students to support their comprehension of tasks and information, and addressing immediate behavioural presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting.
Additionally, the Teacher Aide will support teachers in the coordination of educational programs, including rostering and organizing the work of a team of aides, providing routine co-ordination, guidance, and support to other student support staff, and liaising with external providers of support services about clearly defined support needs and resources.
