Senior Associate – Growth & Origination
Responsibilities
* Conduct financial and credit risk assessments to support the preparation of new credit proposals.
* Contribute to credit discussions and provide assistance to Associate Directors/Directors in Business Development.
* Attend client meetings when required to help achieve business objectives and carry out research to build sector knowledge and stay informed on market trends.
* Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of NAB's credit policies, credit and market risk frameworks, and overall risk appetite.
Qualifications
* Develop strong client relationships and provide solutions that put customer needs at the forefront.
* Make valuable contributions to transaction delivery and consistently produce high‑quality credit submissions.
* Actively manage risk by meeting all policy and compliance obligations, following relevant processes and procedures, and escalating any issues, incidents, or breaches as they arise.
* Strong capability in numerical work and financial analysis.
* High attention to detail with a strong focus on customer needs and compliance.
* Solid understanding of debt products and financial markets.
* Good awareness of key macroeconomic risks and a strong grasp of the regulatory environment.
* Sound knowledge of risk management principles.
