About The Role
The People Support Officer plays a crucial role delivering world-class customer service and administrative services to resolve customer enquiries and applications through a multi-channel approach, while also supporting the efficient delivery of wider People and Culture functions across the department.
What You Will Do
* Deliver world-class customer service and resolve enquiries.
* Collaborate with a team to meet customer needs and provide timely advice on People and Culture matters.
* Manage records, process transactions, and prepare complex documents accurately.
* Support projects and programs to achieve People & Culture objectives.
* Your day will include:
o 15-25 phone calls per day
o Allocated time for processing enquiries/applications
What We're Looking For
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a role where people are the focus.
* A proactive, can‐do attitude and willingness to learn.
* Degree in HR, Business, or related field (or currently studying – preferred but not essential).
* Interest in building a career within Human Resources.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant must obtain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to employment, which must be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will also be required to undertake the RRHAN–EC Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online Fundamentals course, to be updated every three years.
Remuneration
ASO3 $71,589 - $76,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
