You will provide expert advice on training and assessment, compliance with national standards, and lead innovative service delivery models for schools. The Department of Education and Training facilitates nationally accredited training to school aged students, servicing the whole of the Northern Territory. It seeks to expand regionalised provision of VET to all urban and remote schools, while developing policies and building an expert workforce of VET professionals. The department supports the capacity of schools to employ VET trainers and auspices their delivery, developing and managing appropriate contextualised programs that lead to post-school outcomes.
