The Talent Acquisition team at the Department of Customer Service are seeking an experienced Assistant Talent Acquisition Advisor to support our ongoing strategy to acquire talent and achieve organisational goals.

The Opportunity:
As an Assistant Talent Acquisition Advisor you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment with a dedicated and experienced Talent Acquisition team. We encourage flexible working and meet regularly to discuss ideas and take a continuous improvement mindset into everything we do.
In this role you will focus on proactive sourcing, managing high volume internal mobility requests and executing various recruitment administration tasks such as candidate interactions, interview scheduling, job briefings, candidate extensions and other ad hoc duties as required. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys candidate management and building ongoing relationships with talented professionals.
In this role you will:
* Deliver end to end talent acquisition services in line with best practice, GSE legislation and Public Service Commission guidelines.
* Conduct proactive sourcing using a variety of platforms including Reejig, LinkedIn to assist sourcing quality applicants.
* Manage high volume internal mobility movements for the portfolios you support including extensions and secondments.
* Advise managers on best practice approaches and talent management strategies to support those internal movement opportunities.
* Be the key contact point for vacancy enquiries, providing up to date advice to ensure consistency and compliance.
* Build strong relationships and influence hiring managers and decision makers at different levels with data and industry insights.
To succeed as an Assistant Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will have a unique blend of experience including:
* Experience and knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle, including an understanding of compliance and privacy requirements.
* Proven ability in candidate management and the ability to connect quickly with candidates both in writing and over the phone.
* Knowledge of the Government Sector Employment Act.
* Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures.
* Proven ability in the use of Microsoft Office Suite,
* Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
