About The Role
You will provide essential case management support for up to six children and young people in our therapeutic care homes in Wollongong. Working closely with them and their support networks, you'll develop and implement tailored therapeutic case plans focused on their individual needs and permanency goals.
Requirements include experience working with children in out-of-home care, managing complex caseloads, and supporting young people with disabilities, trauma, and mental health issues. A solid understanding of trauma and its effects is essential.
We are currently seeking two positions:
* 1 x Permanent Full Time
* 1 x Full Time, Maximum Term contract (Early May 2025 - Mid February 2026)
Role Requirements
* Relevant bachelor's degree or diploma, with ongoing studies preferred. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
* Previous case management experience in an Intensive Therapeutic Care or Out Of Home Care setting
* Experience supporting children and young people with disabilities, trauma, abuse, or neglect backgrounds
* Understanding of current casework practices and trauma effects
* Current driver's license
Successful candidates will need to pass probity checks including the National Criminal History Record Check, NSW Working with Children Check, and Residential Care Workers Check.
