We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join our team and contribute to our cold storage warehouse in Laverton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation of orders in advance of product distribution, monitoring quality of the distributed product, and ensuring the efficient and safe distribution of goods. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding our company values. This role is primarily a day shift position, with the possibility of transitioning to shift work in the future as operational needs evolve. The Role As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for: Container loading, including export wooden/plastic and slip sheet Pallets Carrying out general warehouse duties Adhering to all work instructions, policies, and procedures Unloading and loading trucks Ensuring general cleanliness of the workplace Inventory cycle and monthly, annual stock take participation You will have: Previous experience in a warehousing environment A strong commitment to safety and quality standards Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team Flexibility to work overtime, when required A current Driver's Licence A current Forklift Licence Physical fitness to perform manual and repetitive tasks Reliability and motivation to contribute to team success How to apply If you are a motivated and reliable individual and meet the qualifications outlined above, please click ‘apply for this job’ and submit your resume and cover letter.
