This is a key support role within the community.
We are seeking an experienced Support Officer to join our team in Queensland, Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for teaching, research and learning activities within facilities across multiple campuses.
* Contribute to effective operation of the department through provision of compliance support to maintain facility induction, health and safety compliance and equipment records.
* Undertake financial transactions using University finance systems (e.g. raise purchase orders, payment and invoice requests).
* Maintain and manage Group contact lists and assist with updates to SharePoint sites.
* Keep Health and Safety compliance records up to date, including data entry, spreadsheet management and record filing.
* Assist in preparing routine and ad hoc reports and correspondence.
About You
* You will have an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of skills, knowledge and experience.
* Experience in PC1/PC2 facility environments and familiarity with lab equipment and maintenance support.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail and collaborative approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint content management.
