Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of security clearance assessment cases. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct Quality Assurance across security clearance assessment cases, aligning with quality expectations and procedures/policies for the Agency.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct ongoing Quality Assurance for your determined case load and clearance level, strictly adhering to Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and industry best practices.
* Manage the Quality Assurance case allocation queue, supporting and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Agency and industry standards.
* Provide coaching and mentoring as required, based on identified trends from Quality Assurance, and input into training requirements enabling a continuous development program for current/experienced Vetting Analysts.
* Support complex case resolution, using experience and vetting knowledge to enable vetting analysts to complete the case.
* Contribute to performance metrics and reporting, identifying improvement recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
* A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
* Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
* Vetting and Quality Assurance experience (essential) in Government or similar high-security environments.
* Experience with on-the-job vetting across Baseline to NV2.
* Attention to detail and ability to scrutinize extensive data.
* Quality Assurance experience conducting QA on cases.
* Time Management skills to meet milestones and SLAs.
