The Role
You will be responsible for managing approximately $2.5M–$3M per annum in capital equipment projects.
This includes:
* Performing detailed take-offs from plans and specifications
* Obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing
* Preparing accurate tenders and formal quotations
* Identifying scope risks before submission
* Managing variations correctly and profitably
* Coordinating subcontractors across installation phases
* Monitoring budget vs actual performance
* Delivering projects on time and on budget
* Ensuring QA documentation and handover standards are met
* Protecting minimum gross profit
You will work alongside the Operations & Contracts Manager, who controls systems, purchasing, logistics and contract compliance.
Your focus is commercial delivery and project performance.
What You Must Bring
To be considered, you must have:
* Demonstrated experience estimating and delivering construction or capital equipment projects
* Strong understanding of subcontractor coordination
* Ability to read drawings and specifications confidently
* Experience managing project budgets and cost-to-complete forecasting
* Proven record delivering projects on time and on margin
* Strong commercial judgement
* Experience in commercial kitchens, catering equipment, refrigeration or mechanical services
* Experience working within Government or Defence projects
Who This Role Is Not For
This role will not suit you if you:
* Focus only on sales and avoid delivery responsibility
* Avoid difficult conversations with subcontractors
* Struggle with financial accountability
* Allow scope creep without variation control
* Need excessive direction
* Manage and deliver $2.5M–$3M annual revenue
* Maintain or exceed gross profit %
* Deliver 90%+ of projects on or ahead of schedule
* Zero uncontrolled cost overruns
* Strong subcontractor performance and compliance
