Locally, the Australian team partners closely with international operations to deliver best-in-class solutions, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive culture.About the RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, this Senior Accountant position is a broad and hands-on role, responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across both the Australian business and a small overseas office.
You will play a key part in driving process improvement, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with group reporting standards.Key responsibilities include:Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and analysis for management reportingReviewing and approving payment runs, monitoring AP/AR, and ensuring timely bank reconciliationsAssisting with statutory reporting, tax returns, BAS and FBT lodgementsPreparing fortnightly and monthly payroll, along with associated reporting requirementsSupporting the annual budgeting process and contributing to financial modelling and analysisActing as a trusted business partner, providing support and insights to various functions across the businessIdentifying and implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiativesThe Successful CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a CA/CPA qualified accountant with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar role.
