About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient financial recordkeeping and supporting the organisation's administrative and compliance functions. Your duties will include:
* Maintaining accurate financial records and accounts
* Preparing debtor invoices, processing payments and managing client accounts (depending on internal workflow)
* Preparing creditor invoices, processing payments and managing accounts
* Processing fortnightly payroll and ensuring associated compliance obligations are met
* Preparing and lodging monthly Business Activity Statements (BAS)
* Providing general administrative support and correspondence as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and able to work both independently and collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent attention to detail
* Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or BAS Agent in a similar role
* Strong proficiency inExcel and Xero
* Experience with Caremaster Software and the SCHADS Award (highly regarded but not essential)
* Ability to manage workflows independently and contribute effectively to a team environment
