Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist – Obstetrics & Gynaecology Logan Hospital | Metro South Health
* Permanent Full Time and Part time positions available.
* Temporary Full time and Part Time positions available.

Commencement as soon as possible.

We're seeking passionate clinicians to provide high‐quality, evidence‐based care, contribute to service leadership, and support education, training and research across our department.

* Opportunities for research, leadership, and development, in areas including High Risk Obstetrics and Advanced Laparoscopy.

Mandatory qualifications, professional registration and other requirements:

* Hold or soon to obtain Fellowship in the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, or equivalent qualification, and registration or ability to be registered as a medical specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). RANZCOG trainees who are nearing the completion of their training and will be eligible for specialist registration will be considered.
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties.
* This position may require to undertake shifts in an extended span of ordinary hours to meet clinical need.
* This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
* Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16): o measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) o varicella (chicken pox) o pertussis (whooping cough) o hepatitis B o tuberculosis
