**LOCATION**:Tomago, Newcastle
**SHIFT SCHEDULE**: 4 day work week - ( Mon - Thur 6am - 4pm)
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
An opportunity is available for an experienced Fitter to work at Tomago in a permanent position. The role involves working on mine vehicles, performing various maintenance tasks such as servicing, repair, troubleshooting/fault finding, and maintenance work. The work schedule follows a 4-day week roster, either from Monday to Thursday or from Tuesday to Friday.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must be a trade qualified fitter (or equivalent) with strong hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.
- Should have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and follow instructions and work. procedures
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Should demonstrate a high quality of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Must be physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, such as lifting, bending, and twisting.
- Successful completion of a pre-placement medical, including drug and alcohol testing, is required.
**REMUNERATION**:
- $35 - $40 per hour+ Super & Overtime
