We are seeking an experienced & reliable Heavy Plant Mechanic to join the Maintenance Team. The primary responsibilities include undertaking inspection, fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of all Heavy Mobile Plant Equipment & Port Operation Fleets both safely & efficiently.
A suitable candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure and independently.
Key performance indicators include:
* Ensuring plant reliability and operability
* Maintaining accurate records of work completed
* Delivering effective mechanical decisions to ensure plant reliability and operability
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Air-Conditioning Ticket – highly regarded, but not mandatory
* High-Risk Licence; Fork-Lift, EWP – or ability to obtain
* Minimum 2 years' prior working experience in a Fixed or Mobile Plant environment
* Prior working experience with fixed plant machinery & equipment eg. CAT, Liebherr, Kalmar, large forklift (10 tonne +)
