Job Purpose
Are you passionate about managing dynamic and comprehensive ice-cream Raw Material and Collaborative Manufacturing (RMCM) portfolios, leading business engagement, and delivering exceptional service while advancing your career in procurement?
This role is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the procurement of raw materials and contract manufacturers for ice-cream production.
Collaborate with the global portfolio procurement team to secure the best material contracts and coverage to support business goals.
Work with the global team on CRM/PRM strategy development and execution.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and maintain quality standards.
Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the production and QA teams to ensure raw materials meet required standards—including several site visits at the Minto Factory each month.
Collaborate with the finance and global procurement team to ensure timely monitoring of pricing, forecasts, and spending impacts.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Monitor commodities price movements and global economic turbulence impacting them.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement (raw materials & collaborative manufacturing).
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
A strong financial acumen of P&L and commodities price movements.
Prior experience in commodity purchasing within the local ANZ market is preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP or similar).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of industry trends (within Food & Beverage manufacturing) and best practices in procurement.

Additional Information
Unilever will internally separate its Ice Cream business by July ****, at which point this role will transfer to the new private company.
