We are seeking experienced timber production assistants, ideally, with automated timber docking saw experience to join our client on an ongoing basis. $35 per hour casual rate - Monday - Friday - 7am - 3pm, Bayswater About Us Our client is growing rapidly across Australia. They are looking for passionate, proactive and solution focused timber production assistants to join the team to assist them to fulfil their orders and grow their projects. Responsibilities The Timber Processor (Docking Saw Operator) is responsible for operating automated docking saw machinery to cut timber to specified lengths and quality standards. The role involves ensuring efficient production, maintaining safety protocols, and supporting overall timber processing operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate automated timber processing machinery, including saws and cutting systems. Monitor machine performance and adjust ensure accuracy and efficiency. Load raw timber materials and oversee cutting processes. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards. Mark lengths of timber and place into racking or departments ready for next stage Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Use forklift to unload materials from trucks ready for production Your Profile Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in timber processing, manufacturing, or machine operation (preferred). Forklift - current and valid forklift licence Ability to operate and understand automated machinery and control systems. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Basic mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets. Good communication and teamwork skills.
