Infrastructure Project Manager

Length: 3 months + 2 x 6 month extensionsLocation: Melbourne
The Project Manager will work alongside other Project and IT professionals to deliver business outcomes.
The role involves working with data centre network & compute, cloud, and security technologies across stakeholders with tight timelines.
Responsibilities
Manage delivery of assigned projects and programs under a PRINCE2 framework
Manage scope per Project and Program Plans and approved Designs
Manage project documentation in accordance with requirements
Develop and manage the IT project schedule and engage relevant parties across the organisation
Coordinate project resources to deliver work packages and products
Coordinate delivery of services and manage Design, Build, Testing, Transition to Operations (including GoLive Documentation), Technology Change Management, Implementation and Post Implementation Review
Manage project-level risks, issues, dependencies, changes and quality
Work closely with program managers and stakeholders to keep them engaged and informed
Act as main point of contact with internal and external stakeholders for the projects assigned
Manage financial tracking and reporting for the project using EPMO-endorsed tools
Manage procurements of hardware, software and services as required, ensuring appropriate resourcing and funding
Organise and manage external IT services to complete the projects when necessary
Facilitate knowledge capture and transfer as a consistent way-of-working
Utilise Agile, ITIL and ADKAR methods daily
Facilitate the onboarding of resources as appropriate
About You
Familiarity with modern Data Center, Cloud, Information, Communications and Security technologies
Certification with one or more Project Management methodologies
Knowledge of the PRINCE2 framework
Experience managing large teams and partners to deliver complex projects
Team player, working with team practices appropriately
Customer-focused, liaising with customers to deliver outcomes
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Jira in an enterprise context
Proven experience implementing site relocations, including to new data centres
Strategic thinking, nurturing productive working relationships, communicating with influence
Experience with Office365, SharePoint, Teams and collaboration tools such as GitLab
