We are seeking a Senior Mobile App & Front‐End Developer to join our Melbourne‐based team. This is a hands‐on senior role for someone who enjoys building high‐quality mobile and web applications, working closely with product, design, and engineering teams in an office‐based environment.
You will play a key role in delivering and supporting Flutter mobile applications (iOS & Android) along with modern front‐end web solutions, while contributing to technical direction, release management, and development best practices.
The role
This role is responsible for end‐to‐end development and delivery across mobile and web platforms, including app releases, analytics, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Flutter mobile applications for iOS and Android
* Work closely with on‐site product managers, designers, and backend developers
* Integrate REST APIs, third‐party services, and analytics tools
* Manage mobile app deployments, versioning, and store releases
* Monitor app performance, usage, and stability using analytics and crash reporting
* Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and sprint planning
* Contribute to improving development standards, tooling, and processes
About you
You are a senior developer who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and delivering reliable software at scale.
You will bring
* Strong commercial experience building mobile apps for iOS and Android
* Advanced hands‐on experience with Flutter and Dart
* Experience with modern frameworks such as React (or similar)
* Strong understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles
* Proven experience managing app deployments to the App Store and Google Play
* Experience with Git version control, branching strategies, and code reviews
* Experience working in Agile teams using Jira and Confluence
* Experience implementing and using analytics platforms (e.g. Firebase, Google Analytics)
* Backend or full‐stack development experience
