About the Position:
An exciting opportunity has now become available for a confident, self-motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at United Chemists Andergrove!
You will be a key support to the Retail Manager, ensuring efficient day-to-day running of the store and the delivery of exceptional customer service. With an important focus on store standards, merchandising and sales, there will be a strong requirement for the successful applicant to ensure the company's policies and procedures are fully adhered to, whilst embracing United Chemists values.
In addition, you are also responsible for:
4. Delivering an exceptional customer experience through your hands-on and inspiring leadership style.
5. Using your flair for visual merchandising to create appealing displays, execute marketing campaigns, maximise sales.
6. Support the Retail Manager in supervising a team of Pharmacy assistants and complete opening and/or closing procedures.
7. Assist with banking reconciliation, stock management and administration and business financial reporting needs.
About You:
You're a natural leader who enjoys motivating others and delivering results. You bring energy, initiative, and a genuine passion for retail pharmacy.
Ideally, you possess the following:
8. Confidence delivering leadership in a fast-paced retail environment
9. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
10. Experience working with and achieving budgets and KPI's (preferred)
11. Ability to work as part of a team and confidence in providing leadership
12. Excellent communication skills
13. Computer skills including operating POS system
14. A genuine passion for retail pharmacy
15. Previous pharmacy experience - highly regarded
16. Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy - highly regarded
