About Our Client:
We are working with a large, complex organisation undertaking a significant storage transformation program. As part of this initiative, our client is seeking an experienced Change and Stakeholder Engagement professional to support business units through key decision-making processes and ensure a clear, well-managed migration path for enterprise data. This role sits at the intersection of technology, change management, and business engagement, and is critical to ensuring stakeholders are informed, confident, and supported throughout the transition to new storage solutions.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will help business units make informed decisions about their future storage options while maintaining a clear and structured migration plan. You will act as a key liaison between Group IT, project teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity, momentum, and confidence throughout the migration journey. You will play a pivotal role in change management, stakeholder communications, migration planning, and the transition of project outcomes into Business as Usual (BAU).
Key Responsibilities:
• Change Management & Stakeholder Support
• Draft and deliver clear communications regarding project timelines, expectations, and responsibilities for Business Units and Group IT
• Clearly articulate available storage options, associated benefits, and the end-to-end migration process
• Ensure business units feel informed, supported, and confident in their decision-making
• Influence and encourage timely decisions despite competing operational priorities
• Identify and help resolve engagement barriers, including resourcing constraints, unclear requirements, or technical concerns
• Provide tailored messaging and engagement approaches for different business units
• Escalate and highlight project or delivery issues that may impact stakeholder confidence
Migration Planning & Reporting
• Partner with the Delivery Analyst to create, maintain, and update migration plans and status reports
• Track business unit decisions, data volumes, readiness levels, and migration schedules
• Maintain visibility of dependencies, risks, and milestones across the migration program
• Problem Solving
• Facilitate solutions to issues impacting progress or project outcomes
• Support the resolution of technical or process gaps that affect business engagement and confidence
Transition to BAU
• Coordinate the handover of project artefacts, documentation, and processes to BAU teams for ongoing ownership and management
Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong, demonstrable experience in change management, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement (essential)
• Proven ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Confidence influencing outcomes without formal authority
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, complex environments
• Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills
• Experience supporting migration programs or technology transformation initiatives
Challenges This Role Will Navigate:
• Business units with limited time, resources, or capability to engage
• Low incentive for stakeholders to prioritise decision-making
• Stakeholders who feel unclear or under-informed about their options
• Technical or delivery process gaps that may reduce confidence in the program
What Our Client Offers:
• Opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact enterprise transformation
• Exposure to senior stakeholders across the organisation
• A collaborative project environment with strong Group IT support
• Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance
