HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a Casual Quality Inspector to support grain inspection activities at port sites in Western Australia. This is a flexible, low-hour role ideal for someone looking for occasional, hands-on work. You will be employed by HOBAN and working for our client.
About the Role
* Conduct wheat quality inspections at port sites (no office duties)
* Sampling, testing, and recording results
* Work in pairs (2 inspectors per shift)
* Shifts are typically around 7 hours (may vary)
* Work is scheduled based on shipping/operational needs
Location
* Primarily Kwinana (Perth area)
* Occasional travel to Geraldton or Albany may be required
* Approx. 10-15 hours per month (may increase depending on the season)
* Shift-based and irregular hours depending on operations
* Weekend and public holiday work may be required
Requirements
* High attention to detail and reliability
* Ability to work independently in a site-based environment
* Valid driver's licence and own vehicle required
* Experience in agriculture or inspection (preferred but not essential)
