The Opportunity

MDH Livestock is a newly established company with our fleet operating from the South West of Western Australia and office based in Rockingham.

MDH Livestock is a new subsidiary to MDH Transport, which has been successfully operating and expanding predominantly in the North West region of Western Australia, since 2010.

We are a family owned company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team.This is a newly created role to keep up with our expanding operations, and our existing administration team will help guide the successful applicant to assist in a smooth introduction to the company and position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical and operational duties, and will play an important role in maintaining accurate records, completing various administrative tasks, and supporting operations within the company.

Your high level of communication and organisational skills will be key to engaging with our team of operators, suppliers, internal team, and management.

Tasks & Responsibilities

* Process daily tripsheets, consignment notes, NVD's, and related transport documentation
* Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable - entering bills into Xero, invoicing clients from Xero, completing accurate data entry within spreadsheets
* Entering operator hours for payroll processing

* Monitor, review, update, utilise data within the My Trucking Transport Management System

* Assist with scheduling, and taking booking requests from clients
* Compliance documentation
* Adhoc duties as required

Skills & Experience

* Minimum 3 years experience within Administration in either the Transport or Livestock Industry (MUST HAVE)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel; and excellent computer literacy
* Previous experience within accounts payable and receivable (experience using Xero will be highly regarded)
* Must have excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities and workload, and maintain efficient workflow
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Continuous improvement mindset
