About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient, and effective care.
* Coordinating and supervising sick parades, including triage, assessment, outpatient and inpatient treatment, inoculations, and health promotion services
* Performing triaging and assessments of Eligible Personnel presenting to the health facility and coordinating additional appointments/services required to ensure timely access to appropriate healthcare
* Delivering and assessing nursing interventions, including medication administration, vaccinations, intravenous therapies, physical assessment, and patient intervention
* Coordinating and supervising medical appointments, including admission to Defence inpatient facilities and civilian hospitals
* Ensuring continuity of care by appropriate transfer of relevant information
Requirements
* A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
* A minimum of 12 months full-time post-graduate experience within the previous 5 years in an acute care, primary health care, or military setting (or part-time equivalent)
* Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
