This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading
Our client is managing government property acquisition programs and is wanting to ensure that positive relationships with landholders and communities are developed and maintained through this process. To ensuring effective engagement throughout the land acquisition process and contribute to the overall success of the acquisition program, we are seeking a point of contact for individuals, businesses and community members. This will include a range of activities to support the land acquisition program, such as door knocking and letterboxing and identifying potential community relations issues associated with the program and wider project. You will also craft key messaging and Q&A resources, including clarification on sensitive subject matters. The role will also require travel to the Riverina region and will include periods where extended stays may be required.
Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Government communications roles. You will have proven on-the-ground experience in Government property acquisition on major infrastructure projects. Prior experience with rural or regional projects and easements is advantageous. A degree or relevant qualification in communications or a related field and a Core Practitioner Certificate with the NSW Centre for Property Acquisition would be preferred.
