An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent part-time Contracts and Procurement Support Officer to join our Corporate Services directorate based in Moranbah.
Working as a member of the Contracts and Procurement Team, this position provides direct support to the Contracting Facilitators and the Procurement Team in the creation, management and administration of contracts and related documentation. It involves the establishment and maintenance of contract data on IRIS, Tech One and related information management systems. It also involves requisitioning and purchase order processing, communicating with suppliers and internal customers and general administration.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
* Knowledge of contracts and tendering processes and documentation.
* Exceptional relationship building skills, including the ability to collaborate and be a team player.
* High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience working in a Local Government environment within contracts and procurement (highly regarded).
* Tertiary qualifications in Business and/or extensive experience and knowledge of business management (desirable).
If you are successful in this position, we will give you:
* Competitive Salary ranging from $43.92 - $47.85 per hour
* Part Time, 5 hours per day Monday to Friday (9:00am to 2:00pm)
* Pro-rata 5 weeks annual leave per annum plus 17.5% loading
* Pro-rata 15 Days’ personal leave per annum
* Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
