We're on the lookout for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our Applecross-based team. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to shape our next phase of growth and build impactful partnerships with some of WA's leading contractors.
You'll be the driving force behind business expansion, responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing high-value client relationships, and positioning KingKira as a partner of choice in the market. This role is ideal for a natural connector with a strong understanding of the labour hire landscape and a passion for creating sustainable outcomes.
Responsibilities
* New Business Development: Proactively identify, engage, and win new clients in the mining, resources, and infrastructure sectors—especially Tier 1, 2, and 3 contractors.
* Client Relationship Management: Nurture existing client relationships, ensuring retention, repeat business, and opportunities to grow accounts.
* Strategic Sales Planning: Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads, track opportunities, and forecast revenue with accuracy.
* Proposal & Tender Submissions: Prepare compelling business proposals and lead contract negotiations that balance client needs and commercial objectives.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and workforce demands to inform and adapt your sales strategy.
* Team Collaboration: Partner with recruitment teams to ensure a smooth transition from signed contract through to mobilisation.
What We're Looking For:
* Demonstrated success in business development or account management, ideally within the labour hire, recruitment, or blue/white collar staffing sectors.
* Deep understanding of the WA mining and resources landscape.
* Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills—able to engage confidently with decision-makers and procurement leads.
* Strategic thinking with a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.
* Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
