**Trade Qualified Mechanic Role**

Our client is a leading waste management company seeking a Trade Qualified Mechanic (Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle or Diesel) for an immediate start. The successful candidate will work in our state-of-the-art facility based in Eastern Creek.
About the Role: As a mechanic working in this industry-leading facility, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and servicing engines, plant, and equipment. Your hours will be day shift working Monday to Friday with overtime as required and once permanent, an on-call weekend roster.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service, maintain, and repair engines and equipment
* Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed, with guidance from the Supervisor/Leading Hand in an efficient and timely manner
* Complete work orders, monitor stocks, and part requisitions
* Record and monitor operational plant while conducting preventative or breakdown maintenance
Requirements:
* A recognised Australian Trade Certificate
* Proven mechanical aptitude and willingness to continuously improve mechanical/electrical skills
* Experience within the automotive repair industry
* Drivers licence
* Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
