We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Banquets Service Supervisor to join our team, leading a dedicated events team and ensuring every banquet and function runs flawlessly while exceeding guest expectations.
Job Description
We're seeking an experienced, hands-on hospitality professional to oversee banquet operations, from setup to service and breakdown. You'll supervise and support the team, maintain service excellence and collaborate closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure flawless execution of large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise day-to-day banquet operations across conferences, weddings and private events.
* Lead, train, and motivate banquet staff to deliver exceptional, consistent service.
* Assist with rostering, recruitment, and payroll to maintain a high-performing team.
* Collaborate with kitchen and events teams to ensure smooth service flow.
* Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and guest experience.
* Manage guest feedback professionally, ensuring brand standards are upheld.
* Assist with inventory, stock control and equipment setup for events.
Qualifications
Qualifications
* Proven leadership experience in banquets, events, or high-volume hospitality.
* Hands-on, service-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and team management skills.
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
* Experience with POS systems (Infrasys/Shiji highly regarded).
* Flexible to work rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.
* Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
