About the Role
You will be part of our team that oversees the full finance function, ensuring strong financial governance while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. This role plays a key part in supporting and developing the accounts payable team while partnering closely with the Financial Controller.
This is a hybrid role at our Erskine Park location, offering the opportunity to work in a supportive, multi skilled team environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are genuinely valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable Team lead – Leading a team of three direct reports
* Preparing journals, accruals, and general ledger reviews
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and month end activities
* Supporting reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis
* Assisting with standard costing and system updates
* Working closely across the Finance and Operational teams
* Providing day to day support and guidance to team members as needed
* Contributing to process improvements and consistent ways of working
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who values teamwork just as much as technical capability.
* CA or CPA qualification
* Experience in a hands on accounting role within a medium to large organisation
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor and support others
* Clear, positive communication skills and a practical approach
* The ability to work to deadlines while remaining flexible and supportive of the team
Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, construction, or multi site environments is highly regarded but not essential.
