LO-GO Appointments (QLD)is currently assisting our Regional Council client based in the stunning Fraser Coast region in their search for a Corporate Governance Officer to cover a parental backfill assignment until August 2026.
This role will see you supporting key governance functions across meeting management, insurance claims, delegations, corporate reporting, caravan park administration, contract oversight, policy, and risk compliance.
*Key responsibilities:*
* Manage meeting administration and ensure accurate corporate reporting.
* Oversee insurance claims management, delegations, and contract administration.
* Administer policy frameworks, caravan park operations, and support risk compliance activities.
* Collaborate within a small team, focusing on primary governance areas while contributing across functions as needed.
What you need:
* Proven experience in governance or corporate administration within Local Government.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain compliance standards.
* Experience in contract oversight, policy administration or risk management will be highly regarded.
