We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.
\
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical occupational therapy services using evidence-based practice skills.
\
Our hospital offers a range of OT services to inpatients, including acute medical care, palliative care, and pre- and post-surgical care.
\
Key responsibilities include:
\
\
 1. Providing occupational therapy services to clients/patients on an individual or group level for inpatients and outpatients.
\
 2. Completing comprehensive patient assessments and developing treatment interventions.
\
 3. Coordinating special aid and equipment requirements for patients.
\
 4. Providing consultation and support to medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
\
 5. Completing administrative duties, including liaison with the office administration team and reporting statistical data.
\
 6. Participating in multidisciplinary activities, such as team meetings and case conferences.
\
 7. Delivering education programs within the service and for caregivers.
\
 8. Supervising students in approved clinical teaching programs.
\
 9. Working effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

Requirements
\
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
\
A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA are essential.
\
You should have demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment, and evaluation within Occupational Therapy practice.
\
Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are also required.
\
A current C-Class Driver's Licence is necessary for this position.
