Lead Youth Mental Health Services Team
About the Opportunity
As a seasoned leader, you will oversee headspace teams across our Darwin and Palmerston sites, ensuring high-quality leadership and effective model delivery.
You will collaborate with Clinical Leads and senior staff to provide support and ensure adherence to clinical governance and reporting requirements.
What we are looking for
* Approved tertiary qualification in Social Work Psychology Occupational Therapy or Registered Nurse
* Effective leader with minimum 5 years experience providing leadership to multidisciplinary teams within a clinical mental health setting
* Passion for youth mental health and keen interest in service improvement access and cultural safety of mental health services
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance team performance and efficiency
Build and maintain key partnerships with service providers to strengthen the four pillars of the headspace primary services model
Provide coaching and guidance to Clinical Leads and senior staff to promote best practice and evidence-based care
Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to improve service delivery and accessibility
Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies
Requirements
Approved tertiary qualification in Social Work Psychology Occupational Therapy or Registered Nurse
Minimum 5 years experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a clinical mental health setting
Strong passion for youth mental health and commitment to service improvement and cultural safety
